In order for us to provide the best care for your pet before, during, and after surgery, please be sure to follow these important pre-operative instructions.
No food or water for your pet any time after 9:00 pm the night before surgery. If necessary, remove all food and water bowls.
Please drop off your pet between
8:00 - 8:30 am the day of surgery.
You may pick up your pet the day of surgery between
3:00 - 4:00 pm, Monday through Thursday.
To ensure that your pet's vaccinations are current at the time of surgery,
please provide proof of their vaccinations. Failure to do so will result in automatic vaccine updating at the time of surgery, at your expense.
No exceptions!

Your pet is counting on you to help him or her recover from surgery. Please read and follow these instructions carefully.
We will let you know what time your pet can begin to have food or water. At the appropriate time, provide your pet with small amounts of food and water rather than a full meal.
Do not bathe your pet for at least 2 weeks.
Dogs must be leash-walked (no running, jumping, etc.) for the next 5 to 7 days.
When indoors, your pet must be confined to a crate or a single room in order to limit their activity.
No playing with children or other pets for 48 hours.
Discourage the licking of the surgery site. Dogs can wear clothing such as a t-shirt and boxer shorts. Bitter Apple lotion can be applied around the site or you can purchase an Elizabethan collar.
Occasionally, complications arise after surgery. In the event that there is a problem, you should call your regular veterinarian immediately.
